How to Get Started with ABA Therapy
Four simple steps from your first call to your child's first session.
Getting started is simple
- 1
Reach out
Call us at (954) 708-1661 or fill out the short form on this page. We'll ask a few basic questions about your child and your insurance. There's no commitment.
- 2
We verify your insurance
We contact your insurance company to check your ABA benefits, at no cost to you. We'll explain what's covered and any authorization your plan requires before services begin.
- 3
Assessment
A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) meets your child and family. The BCBA observes your child and talks with you about strengths, challenges and goals.
- 4
Personalized plan
Your BCBA builds a treatment plan with goals designed around your child. Once your insurance approves services, therapy begins and goals are updated as your child grows.
What to have ready
- Your child's autism diagnostic report (from a developmental pediatrician, psychologist, neurologist or psychiatrist)
- Your insurance card
- Any school IEP or 504 plan
Not diagnosed yet?
ABA therapy usually requires an autism diagnosis for insurance coverage. If your child doesn't have one yet, call us and we'll point you toward diagnostic providers.
Parents can also take the free M-CHAT-R screener (for toddlers 16–30 months). It's a screening, not a diagnosis.
Take the M-CHAT-R screener (954) 708-1661Intake form
Tell us a little about your child and we'll call you to talk about next steps.
